Don’t Let Your Heart Be Troubled

~ Words Between Friends ~

Prudence: Don’t let your heart be troubled. There is always something to be thankful for.

Kautious: How can my heart be anything else but troubled?! And how can you even say that to me when you of all people know what I’ve been through? The way my life is right now, my heart would be crazy not to be troubled! Do you have any idea how dark my world is?

Prudence: Just because your world is dark, don’t mean you can’t shine.

Kautious: What? Are you serious?!

Prudence: Yes, Kautious, I am.

Kautious: Did you even hear one word that I said?! Why do you talk like that? Shine? What’s shining got to do with anything?! There’s nothing to shine about. My whole world is gone mad?!! I lost my job. I lost my house. I lost my man. I’ve lost everything that really matters to me! And I feel, well, I feel like I’m about to lose my mind! It’s crazy-scary out there! I’m terrified. And I’m alone. I’m so alone. And nobody cares how dark my life is.

Everything I’ve ever cherished is gone, and life … my life … is going downhill fast, and getting darker and darker every day. I feel like a dark, thick cloud is enveloping me, and is about to overtake me.

Prudence, my whole world is desperately dark. I feel like I can’t even breathe. At times I feel like my life is drenched in a hundred midnights. I know you know that. But you act like it’s not even so. And you act like I’m supposed to just pick myself up, get over my losses and move on as if they never happened.

Your crazy optimism gets on my nerves, Prudence. My last nerve as a matter of fact. Your optimism is not normal. It’s obscene. And it’s heartless, and insulting. And I don’t want to hear it. Not today. Not from you; not from anyone! Oh, I can’t believe you sometimes, Prudence! How can you even dare to say that to me?

Prudence: I’m not being heartless or insulting.

Kautious: Oh, yes you are!

Prudence: No, I’m not. I’m only being your friend. A friend who loves you enough to tell you the truth! And I’m not being obscene. I’m bringing the truth . . . on your scene . . . that’s what I’m doing.

Kautious: The truth!? Oh, you mean the truth according to holy Prudence.

Prudence: No, Kautious, the truth according to God’s Holy Word!

Kautious: Let’s not get it twisted. It’s the truth according to “holy you”. And I don’t want to hear it because you simply do not have a clue of my reality! If you did, there’s no way you would let something like that come out of your mouth, especially when you know everything I’ve been through. Just look at me. Look at me!

Prudence: Yes, let’s just look at you, shall we, Kautious? Let’s really look at you. But let’s not look at you according to your truth that you’ve made your reality. Let’s look at you according to The One Who said, I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. Yes, Kautious, let’s look at you according to His Truth, His Reality.

Kautious, Kautious, Beautiful Kautious, the day when you can finally see yourself the way Jesus sees you, you will no longer feel alone, or terrified, or allow dark clouds to envelop you to the point that you think they will overtake you. You will see yourself victorious even in the midst of your dire circumstances. The secret is to keep your eyes on Him and on His Word. For when you do, Kautious, instead of being enveloped in blacker-than-midnight clouds, and paralyzed by heartache and pain, you will be clothed in joy unspeakable and surpassing peace from the Prince of Peace Himself.

Kautious: But, but . . .

Prudence: No, buts. Only trust. Kautious, feelings come and they go. And sometimes they don’t tell the truth. And one thing I do know is that the negative feelings you are having right now, well, I know they are lying to you. Yes, they are lying. And you have to fight those negative, defeating feelings. Fight them with the Word! Listen to me, sweetie. You can breathe because the very breath of God is in you and He is the Author of your life. And you are not alone. No, you are not. The truth is, you are never alone because Jesus Himself promised that He would never leave you or forsake you. You say you feel that nobody cares about you. But hear me, Somebody does care! Somebody cares deeply. And that Somebody is Jesus. You are His treasured jewel whether you know it or not, and He cared enough to die for beautiful you. He cared enough to pour out His Blood for you.

Kautious: I want to believe that Prudence, once I thought I believed it, but it’s just so hard. I hurt so bad. I, I, I just can’t. It’s not easy.

Prudence: Like I said, your feelings are lying to you. And not just your feelings, but the very enemy of your soul, he is blatantly, purposefully lying to you and you don’t have to accept his lies. Recognize his tactics and don’t give in to him. You can resist him and reject every negative thought because with Christ, you can do all things!

You can even ‘let not your heart be troubled.’ And I’m not the originator of those words. Jesus is. He said in John 14:1, Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me.

And you Kautious, can take Him at His precious word and simply choose to be a participator and a demonstrator of His life-giving words. It’s up to you, just like it’s up to me.

I’ve sat where you sit, been where you’ve been and then some, Kautious, but you know what? I made up my mind a long time ago not to debate the Word but to embrace it. And I chose to let His Word guard my heart and my mind. God’s Word empowers me to discipline my heart even when I’m in the midst of my fiery trials. By His Spirit, I am always victorious. I choose on purpose to think on the high things and not on the low things. And so can you.

Kautious: But . . .

Prudence: No buts, Kautious, remember, just trust. Trust the high things that came out of your Lord’s Word. Know for yourself that no weapon formed against you can prosper. And let me tell you why it won’t prosper. It’s because Jesus is the One Who formed the “one” that is forming the weapon to use against you. Now, that’s a high thing!

The problem is, you see, we glorify the devil when we say he has the power to overtake us. he does not have the power! The power has been given unto us. And it’s time for all of us who are called by the Lord’s Name to think on the high things of God.

I have to say it again, because it’s so worth repeating, Kautious . . . No weapon, absolutely no weapon that the enemy forms against you will prosper. Think on that truth until it becomes a part of you. And rest in the truth that only God is Omnipotent, not the enemy. And another turth . . . a very important truth you should know and rest in is this Kautious: You are none of the devil’s business!

You are God’s business! And your life is hid in Him in Christ! So, stop giving the enemy of your soul so much credit. Nothing he can do can prosper against beautiful you.

My Lil Sister, my Phenomenal Sister, you are stronger than you know. Yes, you are. And you’re going to get through this because you are not alone. The Lord your Beautiful God has never left your side. Do you hear me?! He’s never left you. And you are always on His Beautiful Mind. You can rejoice and you can be exceedingly glad, for Jesus is saying to amazing you:

“If you can believe in the Father, you can believe in Me.
I love the way my Father loves. I do the things He does.
And He loves you. And I love you. I love you enough to tell you that I’m here for you.
Nothing and no one is going to pluck you out of my Father’s hands.
And you are in My Father’s Hands.

And all that belongs to my Father, belongs to Me.

You belong to my Father, and you belong to Me. Oh, My beloved, I want you to know
that I am not going anywhere. I am here for you; I am in you, I am upon you,
and I will most assuredly empower you to walk in this life victoriously and
I will see to it that life will not walk all over you.

So, don’t worry about a thing. Don’t let your heart be troubled,
and don’t you let your heart trouble you.
You believe in God, believe also in Me.”

My Father’s Treasured Jewels, whether you are Prudence or Kautious above, it’s time to think on the high things of God and no longer embrace or take ownership of the low things in life.

You are not alone, you are not rejected; you are loved royally, deeply, unconditionally and non-negotiably by the God Who made you and chose you before anyone or life ever put their mouths on you. He has an extraordinary plan for your life. So take time to learn what He says about wonderful you in His word. You will find much to be thankful for. And when your world gets dark, don’t let your heart be troubled.

Smile wide and say out loud:

"Just because my world is dark, don’t mean I can’t shine!"

And then SHINE, WOMAN OF GOD, SHINE INDEED!

And remember, As a Woman thinketh, in her heart, so is she!

What You Think Within Will Manifest Without!

NO ONE CAN LIMIT YOUR DESTINY!

GOD HAS ALREADY SET IT!

NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE
TO THE ONE WHO BELIEVES!

YOU ARE EXQUISITE AND MAGNIFICENT AND
YOU WERE BORN FOR LIMITLESS LIVING!

GOD IS FOR YOU, AND YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE!

It is said that every 2-1/2 minutes, we have a negative thought. And every negative thought will cost you something! That’s why, Woman of God, it is critical to your very life that you refuse to accept or ponder on anything that tries to cause you to doubt who you are, question your significance, your worth or your value. And you must stand up to every negative thought that tries to fill your heart with fear and anxiety.

You are the Apple of your Father’s eye!

And He loves you with an everlasting, never-changing, unconditional, outrageously outrageous love! The Heavenly Father’s love for Beautiful, Significant You is absolutely non-negotiable!

His thoughts toward you are precious, and if you could count them, they would outnumber the sands by the seashore!

So, don’t you dare allow anyone to make you think less than who you are, not even you! Be ever so careful what you personally think about your own self!

Again, I say, Be careful what you think about you!

Your self-talk is critical to your living a victorious life or a broken, defeated one. You either speak life or you speak death. Jesus Himself said, Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So, fill your heart with the Word of God. Think on purpose the life-imparting and precious thoughts that your Darling Father has revealed in His Word about wonderful you. Believe His report, and do not allow any negative thought to manipulate you out of what Jesus died to give you. Guard your heart and your mind, and you will change your life!

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU THINK, WOMAN OF GOD!
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SPEAK!

It has been said that every cell in our bodies responds to every thought that we think, and every word that we speak.

Immediately take captive every thought that tries to exalt itself against the Word of the Living God! Again I say, Be careful what you think about wonderful, beloved you! For what you THINK WITHIN will most assuredly MANIFEST WITHOUT. Let me say it another way:

What you think within yourself . . . about yourself . . .
will become yourself!

It doesn’t matter what people are saying about you or thinking about you. It matters what you think about you. What you say about you!

So take time for self-examination.

What words are you thinking on? What words are you really pondering and harboring secretly in your heart? Whose words are you wearing lately? Do you know what you are doing to your own self when you embrace the lies of those who do not know you? Do you have any idea how powerful your thought life really is?

Oh, Phenomenal Woman of God, your thought life is powerful
whether you realize it or not.

So I admonish you. I adjure precious you, to get in the Word for yourself. Learn what my Father and your Father has to say about magnificent you, His Treasured Jewel. For once you know for yourself the endless love that He truly has for you, you will rise in newness of life and renewness of thought. And you will break the cycle of depression, the cycle of low self-esteem, the cyle of unworthiness, the cycle of regret, the cycle of helplessness, and the cycle of abuse in all its forms. Yes, you will rise in newness of power, and you will boldly declare:

I am that I AM says I am! Yes, I am . . . that I AM . . . says I am!

Oh, yes, my Beautiful Sister, you are who the Great I AM says you are!
You are . . . you are . . . you are, indeed!

You can decree a thing and it shall be established
unto you! And I decree:

You are not your yester-pain or your yester-shame.
You are a DIVINELY FRAMED Woman of God!
